Cretan soprano, Theano Papadaki captivates audiences with her magnetic stage presence, rich vocal tone, and expressive depth. She is in demand across opera and art song, with a gift for early and contemporary music.
In May she rejoins Sholto Kynoch to revive their programme Songs of the Mediterranean at the Oxford Lieder Festival and the Elgar Hall, Birmingham.
In October she is making her debut at the Athens Megaron Concert Hall, where she will be performing a contemporary music programme for solo voice including Berio’s Sequenza III, Georges Aperghis’ Récitations, Cage’s Aria with Fontana Mix and Bussotti’s Lacrimae.
