Cretan soprano Theano Papadaki is a versatile singer and actress with a magnetic stage presence, rich vocal tone, and great expressive depth. She has a unique way in diving into the unique drama that each genre offers across opera, art song, oratorio and cabaret.

Theano appeared as a soloist in the opening of the Edinburgh International Festival, performing Tavener’s, The Veil of the Temple, with The Monteverdi Choir (Times ★★★★★).

After graduating with Distinction from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Theano was selected by Sir John Eliot Gardiner to join the English Baroque Soloists for Deutsche Grammophon’s Stage+ documentary series A Journey through Monteverdi’s Italy, performing alongside Anna Dennis and other well-established singers.
